Juanjo Almeida is a Spanish dancer and actor known for his role in the Spanish series “Toy Boy”. 

He graduated from the Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza “Mariemma” in classical and contemporary dance. Almeida worked in London and then in Copenhagen, until an injury took him away from the world of dance.

He made his acting debut in the series “Toy Boy”, where he plays Andrea, an introverted boy with a complicated family history. Andrea is a person who had problems in his childhood and takes refuge behind art and solitude. Almeida also participated in the series “By Ana Milan”, where he gave life to Noah, a young theatre director interested in very alternative plays and who is part of the circle in which Ana moves.In 2022, the film ‘Las niñas de cristal’ was released on Netflix. In this film, Juanjo Almeida shares dance scenes with María Pedraza. The film, directed by Jota Linares, deals with the pressures suffered by the new generations and the refuge in friendship.
